Let me just say I’m in love with everything about this smoothie. It couldn’t be easier to make with just 3 main ingredients that you toss into a blender for two minutes, it has a whole serving of vegetables and two servings of fruit, and it’s absolutely delicious. Green smoothies are super trendy right now and I think they can be a little intimidating because the juice shops sell them by the bottle for $10 each so they seem like they’re hard to make, but trust me. I’m no chef but I can make this recipe almost every day. It’s so good and nutritious, I honestly feel healthier after only one sip. I just want everyone to make it to see how delicious it really is!
1 cup of greens (I use a 50/50 blend of spinach and spring mix leaves)
2 cups of frozen fruit (I used pineapple, mango and blackberries for this one)
1 cup of coconut water
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of protein powder (I use this one)
Throw it all in a blender and enjoy!!
(Based on the three main ingredients and the certain fruit that I used)
23g fiber (whoa)
48g sugar (natural sugar though so it’s fine)
And lots of vitamins!!
