If you have sensitive skin or breakout easily, these are the products for you. For the past few years I’ve been trying out every kind of all-natural product because my skin is so sensitive and reacts to any products that are not paraben free, sulfate free, and fragrance free. But even though I use these products so that I don’t break out, parabens and sulfates could potentially be harmful to your body, even if you don’t have sensitive skin like me. According to stylecaster.com, parabens can mimic the activity of estrogen in cells and have been found present in breast tumors. Sulfates are harmful because they break down proteins, which can lead to a degenerative effect on the cell membranes, and they were also found to leave residue in the heart, lungs, and brain. Soooo I don’t really want to be putting that stuff on my face. The following products I use almost daily and I would recommend them to everyone, no matter what skin type.
Foreo Luna 2 for Sensitive Skin
If you feel like washing your face with your hands isn’t really getting it clean, you’re right. Ever since I started using the Luna to cleanse my face I’ve noticed it’s made my skin clearer and feel much cleaner. I use mine every night and sometimes in the morning to remove my makeup or just wash my face.
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Facial Cleanser
This facial cleanser is amazing for dry skin. It’s hydrating so it won’t dry out your face when you use it every day (and it smells great, too).
Sephora Collection Face Mask- Green Tea
Is anyone else skeptical that face masks actually do anything? I was until I tried this mask, which works wonders. Use it when you’re breaking out and it will clear up your blemishes overnight.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 15
This is my go-to daily moisturizer and I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else. It’s perfectly light, moisturizing, and not too oily, so it’s great to wear alone or under makeup. I’m a huge fan of all of the Aveeno Positively Radiant products, like the exfoliating scrub and face wipes as well.
Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Oil-Free Renewal Cream
Origins might be my favorite brand because almost all of its products are free of parabens and sulfates. This night cream is very moisturizing and makes skin feel soft and rejuvenated in the morning.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer- Oil Free
Most primers in the market are full of unnatural ingredients that can clog your pores. This one is great because it is oil free and gives you a smooth base on which to apply your foundation.
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream
This gel cream is the best for everyday use. It covers imperfections, makes skin look dewy and natural, and is not too heavy.
Have you tried any of these products? Let me know if you have any more that you love!
